Usual net rumours saying Berbatov is a done deal.

....But, he's a World class striker.

If we did get him i would be worried about another Rebrov scenario though.

But don't take nothing from the rumours until after the World Cup, it's all pure fabrication.

I don't think he's world class at all, one season does not a striker make. Did anyone see him playing two seasons ago, the guy could hit a cows arse with a banjo. Some of his misses made that Acimovic miss look tricky!

I've no doubt that he's not physical enough for this league, anyone remember Kezman? I'm sure he'd be a great player in Italy though.

Sorry is should have put;
"he's a 'world class' striker though"

I'm not saying I think he's the nuts, but generally he is considered World class.

I've seen him play a few times and he looks like a decent player to me. I still think we can do better though, especially with Champions League Football.

im a bit of a Berbatov fan and would like to see him at the lane, i think id rather have zigic but Berbie would certainly be a very good signing

We won't get Ronaldo, well we probably could but his 100k per week wages may prove a problem.

I saw him playing in October 2004 Croatia vs Bulgaria 2-2, WC 2006 Qualf. match. He scored one goal, and made an assist for the other one. As I´m not his fan, I must admit he played very, very well in that match. He was constat threat for Croatian defence. His ´off the ball´playing was brilliant. Not captured in single off-side. And his strenght and stamina...what to say...at the and of the match he was fresh like the match was just started. But that was 18 months ago, and i think he is miles away from that form. I accept his rating ( world class striker ), but I think his consistency is doubtful. We need another Klinsmann, another one,who will play all season at 100 % . But if the board will sign him, I hope that he will not became another S. Rebrov, cause the gossip which i have heard was: ´spurs board will offer 10 mil. £ for Bulgarian striker...´
