What if... Man united had finished 4th or Liverpool or the Arse, and they were in a position where the CL winners would drop them into UEFA cup oblivion!
How would they react i wonder? :confused:

If the roles were reversed and the Arse were in our position im certain David Dein would have sommat to say on the matter!!

I can't see that their reaction would be any different from ours, except they probably have more political clout having been at the top of the European game for so long...

well being as hes FA related, shouldnt they see that 5 teams (if poss) in the CL is great for english football? well 4 really, as Arsenal dont really count...

...Maybe he can make up for Arsenal being a virtually foreign team by accounting for our inclusion!

Maybe! instead of Spurs missing out, the team 4th in the french league should miss out and that would be much fairer. Otherwise we'll be overrun with Frogs!!!

i dont think france get 4 places, but yeh i agree, the bastards have plenty of opportunity with Wenger's Arsenal Overseas XI!

Just imagine if UEFA bought the 'no more than 3 overseas players rule in next season!
That will be disasterous for the Arse!! They would need to buy a whole new team of british players!!

it would be nice, however there's all that court of arbitration rubbish...banning overseas players because they are overseas players is unlawful, unfortunately.... I dont think it's a bad thing, I think the limit should be something like you cant field more than 5 at a time, its only teams like chelski and the arse who offend anyways...

Dein would go running to the rest of G14 no question. They are all a bunch of mugs but they know they can be like it. Who's gonna stand in their way? The rest of football? You having a laugh, why should they care?

If Arsenal are playing Juve and Barca week in, week out then they would ship in fans from other clubs no problem ala Charlton, the same goes for all G14 clubs. They should be banned.
