We were the only of the top 5 clubs to not have a player in the main PFA nominations, is this biased towards the 'top' clubs? Ledley king and Robbie Keane have done as much as any other player in the league and i think they both should have been nominated. There's a real football snobbery going on here, whats the bet Martin Jol isn't nominated for Manager of the Year??
Joe cole's a decent player but give me a break!!!

lol i spent so long talking about who shoulda been in it with my flatmate i've forgotten the whole team , ronaldo on the right , given in goal....hang on , i'll look it up
Shay Given (Newcastle United), Pascal Chimbonda (Wigan Athletic), John Terry (Chelsea), Jamie Carragher (Liverpool), William Gallas (Chelsea), Steven Gerrard (Liverpool), Frank Lampard (Chelsea), Joe Cole (Chelsea), Cristiano Ronaldo (Manchester United), Thierry Henry (Arsenal), Wayne Rooney (Manchester United).
the ones i found particuly suprising were Given, chimbonda(cos i don't even remember who he is) and ronaldo, coupled with that fact like what was said apart from pascal its all the big four

Should have had Robbo and Ledders in there for Carragher and Given.
That reminds me of a joke - do you think Shay Given has called his house Chez Given?

I have to say Keane, Henry and Rooney, you can only pick two, I would take Henry and Rooney. As much as that guts me to say.

In fairness to Given look what's in front of him. Absolute Rubbish and any time I've seen Newcastle he makes quality saves. Wouldn't swap Robbo for anyone but maybe he not selected because he hasn't had much to do as other keepers in a lot of games. Think Ledley should definitely be in. Awesome and rarely put a foot wrong. He's as good as it gets at the back in my opinion

Surely Dawson would have been in with a shout as well, he has been a quality player for us all season!

I can't believe Ronaldo is in there, he is far too incosistent. Don't get me wrong - he's a great player.

good player, in fact, GREAT player...but bloody awful season. he's had about two or three decent performances against villa and bolton and thats it.
given should never have been considered ahead of robbo, nor carragher for king. chimbonda was good till Xmas and gallas has played 1 out of every two games this season.
however, this is voted for by the players themselves and danny murphy admitted last night that he'd voted for chimbonda himself and also jimmy bullard.
so i guess we just have to lump it and accept this is what the players feel!
