I want to put this to a poll.

Who do you think will be better in a year?

Ghaly's only started to play English football and has done well.

I only ask this because many people are sure Ghaly will be a proper player. Personally I go for steed on this one, as his shooting is better and he's maybe got more of a football brain for decision making and passing.

I think he could be dynamite for us when he gets fit. But they've both got pace and quality, and ghaly probably works harder.

Steed is the better player. But you need your Ghaly type players in the squad. They will come in handy.

hard one to call this, steed obviously for his tackling and winning the ball for us but ghaly for that little bit of flair when needed.Steed at the moment probably just shaves this as he is a better player.

I voted Ghaly but I'm not really sure. I voted Ghaly because he has really impressed me this season and he's got almost all the abilities you need in a midfielder. If he can develop some aspects of his game he could be a top quality midfielder. And his ability to play in many possitions is a big advantages too.

Steed dissapointed me in his first 2 matches, but obviously it's difficult comming back from 3 months injury. He did well at Fulham but I doubt he's our solution on the left wing problem. He lacks too much pace and skill for that, but he might be able to win a place in the centrel midfield.

I would have to pick Steed. I believe him to be a bit more creative and more likely to put the strikers through.

Is steed a good ball winner?

I must say sometimes I don't pay attention to lower teams players that much.

I always thought steed was quick but he doesn't seem so quick now. Maybe it's the fitness.

Ghaly is more of an athlete definitely and he works his socks off. That'll certainly endear him to the coach.

I have many memories in mind of steed carrying fulham and being absolutely smoking. I hope he can do that for us.

You're right it is hard to call. I think ghaly could become awful good. He's got everything and he's two footed. He also sees the play and the passes just sometimes he picks the wrong option. Maybe that will come.

I think that Steed is one of those players who isn't particularly quick, but has a good turn of pace. He's a bit like Xavi in that he has very close control and always keeps his body between the defender and the ball, quick turns and rolls. Good eye for a pass.

No doubting that athletically Ghaly is better, but i would see Steed creating more.

Ghaly lacks the final product!

You're talking finished article vs. potential. Gotta be Steed, though I love the Ghaly.

I would disagree. Since he's come into the side in twelve games or so he's created numerous chances and a few goals, won two penalites, scored two goals and consistantly supports the front.

I don't know how that's no end product and he's only arrived in english football.

Only knowing Steeds ability in a Fulham kit, i give him the edge, just because he seems to me a better passer and dribbler than Ghaly. I may change my mind some months down the line though. I do love Ghaly's workrate and good vision though as mentioned in an earlier thread by Choda, he has a good chance of being a quality player. I must point out Ghaly gets my support for constantly working and attacking the oppositon. Plus when theres the need of gettin' physical, Ghaly isn't afraid.

Steed for me, a proven premiership player has a great shot, can see a pass and can dribble.

Ghaly's has potential, great work rate just needs to get accustomed to the English game but getting better everytime i see him.
