Exactly. Not because there is any real connection between the two teams, but because the average Chelsea fan can't help but allign himself to a virulent and nasty, right-wing and nationalistic cause. There's a section of Ibrox that waves Union flags and sings lovely songs about killing Irish people - you can see how the Shed consider them to be kindred spirits..

Whether or not the same section of Stamford Bridge has any understanding of the deep-rooted socio-historical problems that cause the bitter divide in Glasgow remains in doubt, however.
