that's a disaster, i think he's the only combative mid with any pace in our team and he will be a huge loss. Without the pace in the middle i think jol will play mido up front and revert to our sit back and knock long. not what i was looking forward to but that's what we have. would like to see hudds get a game too.

terrible terrible news, we now have a lack of pace in the centre, i dont know what masterstroke MJ will pull but we've been told to expect the unexpected

nightmare. King and Jenas are part of the core of the team. Murphy will earn his stripes if he does well, this is his chance

Let's hope he takes it with both feet, as it were. And not in such a way as earns hm a red card...

Anybody else got the nerves yet?

yer nervous alright, it was an enjoyable nerves until i heard about jenas. Maybe we'll play 3 up front. I think arsenal would realise our midfield is our strong point and get the ball up to the strikers as soon as poss, dragging our midfield back where we can't create. So if we can't create with the midfield return the favour by playing 3 up, or two and keane or defoe floating. Really think we'll struggle for a result with king, jenas and prob tainio out. Doh!

What about Hossam Ghaly?

I can see Davids playing to be honest and i i had to predict a starting 11 id go with:

Robinson

Stalteri -- Gardener -- Dawson -- Kelly

Lennon -- Carrick -- Davids -- Reid/Murphy

Defoe -- Keane

Bench:

Murphy/Reid
Ghaly
Barnard
Mido
Davenport

Anyone know what happening with Huddlestone?

I hope we get to see Ghaly. it's an oppurtunity for him as well. Wegner wanted to sign him before Spurs snatched him.
