I got caught a year and a half ago and my case has finally been called for Monday the 23rd of October.My lawyer worked me a pretty good deal as they were trying to lock me up for longer so keep the forum up and running and I'll be back in a year.:(

Yeah, the liberal and common sense manifesto and original constitution is that a person should be allowed to do whatever the hell they want to do so long as it doesn't infringe upon the rights of another.

I live in the Atlanta, Georgia in the US and they're sending me to a program called "PWC" or prison work camp were I'll basically go out and work me bollox off most days then go back to jail to sleep and eat.

It's going to be pretty shite because the coppers tend to treat you like an animal and are mostly dickheads but it'll be local to were I live so my wife and daughter will beable to come visit me and that'll help time pass alittle quicker.

It's kinda ****ed up because I'd finally got my life back on track and had a good job but now these ****ers are going lock me up for some shit that happened a year and a half ago.

My brother-in-law is in a similar program up in Maryland, at least the perk of family visits should definitely help matters. Unfortunately in any type of jail the cops will be bastards.

Don't get me wrong there are many foul individuals who do belong in jail but as you will notice as i did, there are many drug related individuals locked-up for 30+ years who certainly don't deserve those lenghty sentences opposed to ******* child molestors etc. who do less time.

I've been to jail before for afew months and in there your people could come visit you about twice a week but I'm not sure if PWC is different or not.

An ex-con gave me some advice once, he said, 'If you ever for whatever reason end up inside then do two things: Lift weights with your arms, big arms even when fully covered send out signals that your tough (it will prevent many situations) and if do get into strife for whatever reason it's good to have big arms. And second always stay busy and get some purpose for your time.

yeah I got the intent to distribute charge but the gun was registered to my mate I just didn't have a permit to conceal it. They tacked on another concealed weapons charge for a knife I had in me pocket then hit me with 2 "possesion of a weapon whilst commiting a crime" charges and a felony weed charge so I was pretty ****ed and me lawyer did a good job I guess because the DA wanted to lock me up for longer the bastards.

Yeah i agree. I know a fair few guys that have served a little bit of time and the letters they recieved from friends and relatives really helped them through it. We could enclose the newspaper reports from the spurs games. Pm me an address.
