I was watching a report on Sky Sports News that was about referee's that have been demoted recently. Chris Foy has been demoted for awarding a penalty for the Zokora incident. Which seems a little harsh, in real-time it looked like a definate penalty. The report just lead me to think about who is the worst all-round ref in the prem? For me it has to be rob styles, the bloke is a **** that really seems to enjoy treating the players like children, i remember he sent Mido of against chelsea for the 'foul' on Del Horno, he sprinted over and thrusted that red card right in Mido's face almost hoping for a reaction. I seriously hate the bloke, how he ever got to premier league level is beyond me!!
Anyway, enough of my anti- styles rants, Who do u guys think is the worst Ref in the prem?
P.S something tells me that Urriah will get a few votes!!

Cor, that's a bit like asking who was more evil, Hitler, Stalin or Pol Pot! They're a bunch of inadequete losers who were probably bullied unmercifully in their childhood.

theres a ref thats called Mark something (not clattenburg) i thought it was Webb??? he is good and plays advantage
any ref that plays advantage and then brings it back if required is good , any that doesnt is no good , that way they have a few seconds to evaluate their instant decisions.

The best ref i've seen is the Italian bloke with the bald nut, can't think of his name, looks like something outta horror film, he reffed the game between England & Argentina in 2002 World Cup when Becks scored from a penalty, He did'nt let the Argies get away with **** all and was kind to us with the penalty.

The main problem I think is not with individuals but with how they are instructed to ref. Taking out common sense interpetation of the rules.
There are also some crazy rules like the new offside etc.
The only individuals I can think of are the one or two good refs who interpret the rules with ther own common sense and apply it. Guys like Collina, and one or two overall decent foreign refs.
That guy Mourinho disgustingly lead to retire Frisk was overall a good ref, idiot.
The rest are basically all shite.
Best of the English I'd say is Webb but none of them really stand out as excellent or even good I don't think. Webb in case I'm getting the name wrong is the young looking bald fella. Maybe he is good.

I don't know what's wrong right now. The standard of referrees as well as the standard of players have been falling alarmingly over the last few years.

Mate I think the reason for this is mainly the players.
Back in the day players used to play to win and followed the rules most of the time, but now they use every opportunity to try and con the ref.
The reason is football has now as we all know become a business and pros very rarely just play it for fun any more it's all about money so in turn they'll do anything and everything to win and earn more MONEY.
money is the root of all evil
I don't know who made that saying up but it's pretty true
edit: Poll is still a shit ref I mean 3 yellows in a game wtf was that all about

An even wiser man said, 'ignorance is the root of all evil', for richness of character is what delivers real success.

What causes a man to commit evil or a wrong? It is ignorance of what is ultimately good for him and everybody else.
If you really want to break it down money is only an agreed means of temporary value we've all agreed upon. Money is not an evil in itself but just a currency for value.
Value comes in all forms and so if you are cheating on this then you are a thief or a criminal even if it is only in terms of that you are destructive to others in some way.
And it is well proven that all criminals or criminal minded people are unhappy, so therefore it is not only bad for others it is bad for them too, even if they initially gain something.
So it is their ignorance or character flaw of how to behave like a real man or women that not only hurts others but ultimetlely hurts themselves too.
That is why the man who said, 'ignorance is the root of all evil' was wiser.
