I think the reason for this is that most people's XI would consist mostly of the current team, what with it being our most successful period in the prem and all...

he was one of our greatest players though, and the last player to lift a cup for us. on his day he was world class. plus all that arsenal stuff was years ago now, hes old news. sky sports even has him as 'deputy for senderos'!

Have you guys Never Heard of Dave Mackay, he played in the double winning years. Made ArseSol look like a girl and Dawson look like a baby.

Mabbut instead of campbell anyday and what about Christian Ziege, the man was top quality, definately our best premiership left back me thinks. he had it all, gave his all and scored a cracking freekick against arsenal. top bloke

I saw Ziege for the first time in Euro 96, and he scored a beast of a goal then too, i dont remember who Germany were playin that day though...I've always thought he was class, shame about the injuries.
