Is the transfer window a good idear? Why should a small Club be prevented on cashing in on a player who is creating alot of interest, if they need the money in a hurry.
On the other hand i am sure some managers from the lower leagues are glad when the window shuts, so they know exactly what squad they will have for the next 4 or 5 months.

I like the transfer windows, I think it puts everyone on a level playing field. I could just imagine if it didn't exsist and in February Chelsea had a load of injuries so went out and spent 40mil on some replacements.
I agree about the lower league managers, it would be very frustrating if they are pushing for promotion and then half-way through the season their top scorer is sold for silly money.

i don't think it makes for a level playing field..or helps smaller or poorer clubs. However the transfer system works the richer clubs will always have a huge advantage in the market.
The only reason I like the window is that at least by midnight tonight for a couple of months it will be over..I'm sick and tired of transfer talk and specualtion..of course there has always been transfer talk, but now due to the amount of agents, media activity and the need to print anything footballl realted its ,I think got ****ing boring.
I can't wait to the teams can get on with just playing football,I also think certain clubs, due to fan demands etc actually suffer during the window, because they feel they should be constantly active in the market.
The problem isn't of course transfers but the ridiculous sums involved often for very ordinary players who are hyped up by agents.
3 or 4 good games and everyone thinks the player is the next big thing.
Chelsea aside, and their recent riches, the most successful club in the prem..Man Ure have never constantly chopped and changed..of course they buy in and spend cash when needed...I think the way the market works now couses more damage to certain teams....us included.

its good for bigger clubs, but teams say in the conference lose their best 5 players to teams in the higher leagues so then they have to start again
