As a scouser would say..calm down....I was there..im there pretty much week in week out...but thats football..we were poor ,very poor and there are a few things not working at the minute.But to say we can't do this or do that at this stage is ridiculous.Last year I think too many people got carried away..for those who saw us play regularly it was obvious that r there things that need improving on..and we were never champions league class,altho we would have happily taken 4th spot and enjoyed the ride.

This year was always gonna b harder not easier,and people are disapointed ,but to say we are shite is bollocks.I sat in the stand with a lot of guys disgusted at our lack of singing and support for our team..no matter what the score.We moan about the scums lack of passion and chelsea.yet what r we ..only sing when we r winning now.Lets hope we don't ever get relegated again..I hurt big time when spurs play like that,but to just write em off is crap.

we need to continue strenghtening and find a balance to the team,but lets point fingers at the end of the season.I f u wanna call em shite..go to the lane stand at the front and let em know..or go find a team that wins every week...

Yes, that is what I am calling for aswell, a bit of balance. Great post there. Says it exactly as it is. If it is going to be more difficult to progress then so be it. We have the structures in place to take time if need be.

There are clearly things that Jol needs to recognise and players to bring in but let's not have a major knee jerk after every game, look at the big picture aswell as the details.

just watched the first half and am well pissed off we didn't score we were all ****ing over them. Ekotto looked good, Davids was his usual self all over the place getting stuck in, and Berbatov has shown good movement.

Keano has not got into the game at all though neither has Jenas and the ref has been a total knob head. It's looking like to me Lennon and Keane are getting marked out the game and Jenas is definately not a creative midfielder. Davids is the only player stepping up in center midfield trying to create stuff and that's not exactly one off his strong points.

The main thing that's really pissing me off is if we made one substitution we would've probably won this game, all we had to do was bring in Murphy for Jenas and then we'd have the perfect player to unlock their defence and help free up Keano and Lennon.

I'd like to see Ekotto pushed up to left winger and bring Salty back in at RB and Lee at LB then drop Jenas and give Murphy a ****ing start against manure please for the love Tottenham can someone forward this to Jol.

I know I only watched the highlights on MOTD, couldn't bare to bring myself to watch Sky's coverage, but was it me or did anyone else wonder if Jenas was even on the pitch?

Saw the highlights on Football first and thought we dominated the first half and could have scored a couple of times. Dont really know what went wrong in the second half, perhaps we took our foot off the pedal and thought it would be easy against 10 men.
People have been slagging off Davenport, but no one rates Gardner either, these people must be kidding themselves if they think we will have a really top centre back waiting in the wings if Dawson or Ledley get injured. Only teams in the Champions league and regulary challenging for top honours have that kind of luxury.
I agree Jenas should be dropped, i would like to see Zakora alongside Davids, i feel he is far more creative and a better passer of the ball. Far too early to panic, but i feel we need to attack with more speed and i would like to see more from Berbatov. Perhaps leaving him out of the next game for Defoe would give him the kick up the arse he needs.

We've scored so far two goals, Berbatov scored the first and assisted for the second. And you think we must drop him??? Why? To gain Premiership experience on bench? No no, Berba has been our most consistent performer so far. As for yesterdays match I would like to praise Ekotto as I think he's a top class left back, one of the best I've seen around for a while. He's got so much pace, he's got awereness, he's agressive but still don't seem to lose his head, he's good on the ball. He was one of a few that played acceptable last night.

What I think was wrong last night was that we played so slow. I could walk and still intercept passes. Poor!!

Remember last season when we finished 5th and just barely missed out on 4th because of some cheap shit on the final day. Well mate Martin Jol lead us there and it wasn't just luck so calm the **** down and stop getting all worked up.

Now it's obvious we got afew kinks to get ironed out like left midfield and our best combination in the center but we have a quality squad and MJ will get us working right soon enough.

Remember how shit woolwich looked last year at one point and they came back to finish fourth and Newcastle were dreadful at one point last year but ended up qualifing for the Uefa Cup.

It's in situations like this when you see if your a real Tottenham supporter or someone who caves in at the first sign of weakness and starts slagging off the team. Get behind Martin and the squad and watch them over come this minor blip in form to have a class season and a great run in Europe.;)
