we have been drawn against slavia prague and i am not to sure what to expect from them as i have rarely seen them play! does anyone else know what they are like and if this result is good?

away first. the wikipedia site says they have financial problems so are building a young team there with a few u21 internationals. No real big names playing for them to my knowledge. Considering our pre-season games it's probably smaller than all of them not counting stevenage ofcourse.

they are currently 5th in their league..not the force they were and are well behind sparta and one or two other czech teams in terms of quality...we would expect to beat em.....

avoiding leverkeusen was key...so I'm confident....flight r cheap...and only take couple of hours..am booking now..

I know well Slavia for they played against Berby's first club CSKA Sofia last year.

They play very agressively in Prague but their defenders are weak. They sold their best players, so we'll have in fact no problems to score away 1-2 goals if not 3.

I am sooo gutted I can't go - I'll be in Barca for a wedding. Worst thing is I'm flying out the evening of the 14th, so I can't even watch the game on TV!!! :'(

They haven't lost this season yet. It's reported that they've won 2 and drawn 2.

hiya looking at the draw we are in a tough group when we beat slavia

Group Seven:
Ruzemberok v Club Brugge
Sion v Bayer Leverkusen
Partizan Belgrade v Groningen
Xanthi v Dinamo Bucharest
Slavia Prague v Tottenham

so we'll have bayer , bruges, dinamo and a n other to overcome id say

looks like west ham have got feyernord :-( in their group, we can always gate crash the party

no feyenoord they were happy days...anyway pretty pleased with the draw
