Im torn between what seem to be our only two options to partner bassong tonight, Stephen Caulker, raw and inexperienced with only league 1 football under his belt, although a great prospect. Or hudd, who might struggle with the pace of Vela. If ever there was a time to deploy hudd in central defence surely this is it. Dont like throwing caulker in for his debut but harry did it in a far bigger NLD with rose last year and look how that went! Also i dont fancy bassong as the defensive leader hes still very raw.

Its not even a close call due to circumstances and what Harry has said. Caulker obviously IMO.
Huddlestone needs a rest, he has played more games than any other senior player for the last year and again has been ever present this season. Bale and Huddlestone particularly need to miss this one out due to the three games next week.

Not gonna happen mate gallas isent going to be risked he suffered from cramp against wolves and could be out for months if we risk him. Arsenal arent exactly going to have a full strength line up with van persie, walcott, arshavin, and presumably chamakh not involved. We'll get away with it and if we cant play caulker in the league cup when can we play him. Seems a great prospect.

I dont care what they are doing, we need to play a team that is going to win the game. I am not in the clouds due to the C league. These players are employees paid to play football, we cant have our season fearful of injuries, we just get on with it.
The league cup is a worthy competition, fans have paid to see a feisty north london derby and the clubs should provide it.

LMAO Huddlestone needs a rest? he gets paid between 40k-70k a week and he needs a rest. For that f*cking money he better do what hes told and when to do it IMO.
