The Uefa as such a strange mix of teams that its always interesting and always has the possibility of an upset.However you would expect us to get through round one to the group stage which is crucial for us...

plenty of good oppositoin around ...celta vigo,bayer leverkusen,paris st germain,,az alkmaar and feyenoord.As well as the other english clubs involved..plus the drop outs from the champions league first group stage.

keep an eye on the ties being played tonight..2nd leg of 2nd qualifying round...Newcastle are playing..and clubs like partizan belgrade..marseille and rapid bucharest...can't wait..

Well guys I am old enough to remember our great days in Europe, saw the finals against A.Madrid, Wolves, and the games against Anderlecht were the best I've ever been to for nail biting gut wrenching agony followed by ecstacy. I can honestly say the traveling were some of the best times of my life, hope you younger guys can feel that this season as well.
