But how funny was it seeing seeing Judas playing in a Pompey kit. For all his illusions of grandeur you could almost predict he would end up like this.
Reminds me of Barmby, remember him could have been a Spurs legend, ended up playing for Hull?

you can hate him all you like but he achieved somthing with his career which he wouldn't have done with us. I admire his courage but hate his guts.

That's not the point he didn't have to **** over the club he grew up at. He lied his way to a financial coup that hit us hard, and to cap it off he went to our bitterest rivals. He's a scumbag.
His quality as a player is a different arguement altogether. He was a very good CB. A bit questionable positionally at times improved that over the years quite a lot, could never pass water, and now he's struggling both physically and it would seem mentally a bit aswell.
Might have some kind of a revival at pompey but he's basically finished.

He could have gone anywhere in the world at that point in time. There was much speculation about him going to a Serie A side.
He could have made a gentlemans agreement to sign a contract on the condition that we sell him, so that we make some money.
Nope, instead he goes to our biggest rivals for nothing.
Pompey is just his retirement home.
Now we have King and Dawson.... Sol who?

he may have won things at the goons but he screwed this club and its fans over bigtime.
the way he lied and deceived us over 12months running upto his departure was disgusting and if you search the news archives on the official site, then you'll find some lovely quotes and interviews from as early as the november/december beforehand where he says his future is at the club and he loves and cant imagine ever leaving.
the guy is a moneygrabbing queer!!!

His whole playing style changed after leaving Spurs. He got alot bigger physically and seemed to lose the edge that he had at Spurs. He used to making bursting runs from the defence with the ball, often beating several players (i'm you sure all remember a few from his earlier England performances).
Granted he won things, but i don't think he improved nearly as much as he should have, if at all.

Campbell's career took the nose-dive it deserved after he shat on all of those who believed in him, sang his name and called for him to represent his country. I wouldn't piss on the man if he was on fire, I'd had ten pints of Abbot and found myself twenty miles away from the next comfort spot.
His courage would have been admirable were it real and not founded in greed, deception and dishonour. Had he asked for a transfer and issued a "Come Get Me" plea to the Fiddler of the (arsenal) Youth then I would describe him as couragous. Weedling his way to a free transfer, lying and coniving all the way, makes him a worthless epitomisiation of all that is worng with the current game. What possible respect is there to be shown to a man who was given every opportunity to make a graceful and dignified exit yet chose to line his pockets with the profits of disgrace?

He looked awful last night. Players like him are not what Portsmouth need to attain that top 10 finish they're after. He has experience but he looks suspect these days.
