Big day for Davenport. For the small amount of time he came on against Everton he looked pretty good but it is not the same as playing a whole match.
I was at the game that Dawson made his debut (Liverpool away when Edman scored that blaster) he he looked superb all game and has not looked back.
Let's see if Davenport is as good as they thought he was when we bought him.

someone needs to take control. Dawson needs to find his voice. We can still do this

come on spurs!!! the goals have got to come sooner or later. i dont know about everyone else but i think we have been the better side first half. lots of chances. went to sleep on the counter attack and i have no idea what was going through lee's mind.
come on keano!! come on defoe!!! lets see more of lennon in the 2nd half

were going to have to go hell for leather to get back in this, meaning daws & davenport going up and leaving us exposed, i think we can score and try and make a game of it

After such a promising start why did we starve Lennon of the ball in the last 25mins of first half. We have to keep him on the ball, he's a full backs worst nightmare, silvestre didnt fancy it. Also take davids off, bring on murphy and put jenas on the left.

individual error has cost us again. coz if we had got a 2nd goal. no one would of said we didnt deserve it.
unlucky lads. was pleased for barney getting on for a bit and also well played davenport and dawson

well that's pretty gutting especially with the nature of the goal. but the performance overall was good. dawson and davenport played well. Man utd looked poor in the second half but we lacked cutting edge. also can't work out why we were knocking the ball around so slowly when we were losing.

dissappointing we didnt get at least a point, we definately deserved it. daws a serious contender for man of the match, if we'd have had a fully fit squad we would have taken something, how the hell was ryan giggs man of the match

i know ryan giggs motm wtf!! you do have to remember that andy gray shags the ass off utd though so maybe that had something to do with it.
i think utd are becoming more and more like a one man team. rooney had an average game on fri and they only managed a draw against sunderland. looked sharper today and popped up with 2 goals. right place at the right time.
he was the difference today. simple as that

We were the better side most definately, just lacked the finish (how many times have we said that this season?), I feel gutted that we didn't get anything.
Really thought Barney was gonna get the equaliser.

Shame Mido was injured, we needed him to come on near the end and give us more fight.
Feel bad for Lee, but mate, NEVER, EVER do that again!

Daws was outstanding today, not at fault for either goal it was a smash and grab effort. I don't care what the stats say, we were good for the draw minimum today, just ran out of ideas for that second goal. I'm confident we can get a result against the scum next week.

Even though we didnt take any points from the game, I think it was the best performance the lads have put in at the Lane since Newcastle. Davenport was fantastic I thought, and his run up the left when he skinned Rio was a highlight.
