I would, **** it. Ok he's eccentric and an ex Scum captain - but **** it, I reckon he would seriously provide a great option for us with his quality and experience. Not to mention his winning of titles at Chelsea, he's a winner.
Ok I feel quite dirty saying all this, but if he could learn to hate the scum I could entertain it!
His experience is simply huge. Thoughts? Actually could I really bear seeing this guy in a Spurs shirt.....arghhhhhh. Not so sure actually, maybe I just had a rush of blood to the head.
Anyway, have a read at this?

First and foremost I want who Harry wants. My only concern with Gallas is he does come across like a man who causes rifts in changing rooms. A rotten egg if you will, but as a player he would be perfect especially if Harry gets the best out of him and he responds. He is very experienced and can play in two positions easily. He would get the respect of the players but hopefully he will have an impact like Davids and do well for us.
But will he sign? Hopefully and I do mean it.

Harry's judgement. I'm not a football manager and would back him.
Leave it to the professionals.
I don't believe in the idea of "scum", something adopted from Pompey fans(shared a house with one 30 years ago, so I do know).
My question would be: "Wages, and I wouldn't expect him to be ahead of Dawson or Bassong"?

The more I think about this the more it sounds like a very good bit of business. If his wages are reasonable this is actually a no brainer.

lol.
Seriously if the guy is going to improve us, I think its foolish to turn your nose up at that, its not like its Sol Campbell we are talking about here. Now that would be different!

Wages seem the problem.
I also don't see how he would take a secondary role.
Classic Harry player, though.

Harry said wages wasn't the problem, is Harry telling fibs again?

Knowing that we are presently letting in quite a few soft goals, although in pre-season, the signs are to there to see that we need to further strenghten our defence. Gallas, yes, an ex-scum, but brings along with him many years of experience both in EPL and internationally. A free transfer, and hopefully, acceptable salary, yes, he would be a good addition to the present squad.

no, i wouldnt have him.
not because of his connection, but because he wont be a happy bunny if he has to play second fiddle to daws.
i would have him ahead of bassong and kaboul. not sure about his wages either.
he does have alot of experience and quality but will he be willing to come to us?
