someone put me straight on this please , deliberate handball in the box , is it red card automatically ?
i ask because after watching the watford sending off (chris powell i think , which so obviously wasnt a handball ) was in a discussion wether , as it was supposedly deliberate as he gave the penalty , he should have sent powell off or not .
i seem to remember both instances happening before but i cant remember what was the correct interpretation of the law .
also as an aside , there seemed to be a lot of players sent off last weekend in the premiership , but in the highlights i cant remember seeing anythng particulary violent , was it all for stupid misdemeanours or are the refs clamping down on something in particular that i didnt notice , excuse me for asking but was a bit pissed all w/e and the aftermatch analysis over here is a bit bollox , so tend not to watch it .
