SSN have confirmed we've had a bid for parker rejected, discuss. Personally i think he would be the perfect partner for hudd.

Its a shame really we aren't going to get him.

Good player. Solid, good on the ball and loves a scrap. Trouble is, what would this mean for our CM's?

We already have:

Palacios
Hudd
Sandro
Moddle (can and did play CM)
Jenas
O'Hara

I can see Jenas leaving, but not O'Hara. Are we aiming to play 4-6-0? :P

In all honesty, if we got him, this would be a definite move towards 4-5-1.

I like him, good player. But I wouldn't entertain him really, certainly not for crazy money the Pikey's would be looking. It would certainly spell the end of JJ which would be more than a bonus.

Also begs the question would Modric remain in the middle, which I personally hope he does.

If you were talking 8 million max, but I have heard figures of 15 million mentioned.

Anyway the Pikey's will use this as positive spin now...'We wont sell our best caravans'...players I mean :santaclaus:

I'm gonna go on a rant here so I would like to apologise first.

First Parker is a good player, but do we need him? How much will he cost?

We already have Hudd, Mod, Palacios, Sandro, JOH, JJ ect ect ect.:001_rolleyes:

Parker apparently is a Spurs fan, a Spurs fan who picked Newcastle wages over us.

Is he essential? HARRY WE NEED A FVCKING STRIKER YOU ****. This isn't children in need, trying to help your old club. If Harry had his way I bet he would try and buy Parker, Upson and Charlton Cole.:ahhhhh:

Also why does David Sullivan always looking for a pr stunt to try and make himself look like the dogs bollocks? If its not about Beckham, its about the stadium or its about how great he is.

The guy trys to make himself out as some lone ranger, ready to save these helpless pikeys from the deaths of relegation battles.

Wouldn't be one bit surprised if these are deflections tactics from Levy..someting is in the air. Supposedly has gone to Germany to negotiate a deal for Ozil, well putting a bid in for Parker would certainly lead the media etc barking up the wrong tree so we are free to try and get on with things and are out of the spot light. We dont want another public snub like J Cole do we??????

Probably wishful thinking but the ITks seem to think we are at least trying to get Ozil even if it is a tad unrealistic.

I know this isn't completely realistic but what a team this would be:

----------------------Gomes-----------------------------

Walker---------Dawson--------Kjaer----------Bale----------

---------------Huddlestone---Palacios----------------------

Lennon-------------------Ozil----------------Modric--------

-----------------------Fabiano-----------------------------

Well I thought Walker looked like he could be a pretty tasty right back.

I don't know much about Kjaer but i know we need another top quality centre back.

We're not getting Fabiano but he would be the sort of player we need.

A team to compete for champions league maybe? Not too far off really.

Sandro, Palacios and Huddlestone competing for 3 DM spots.

Option to revert to 4-4-2 and bring in Defoe if ever one of the AM are injured.

Fvck knows whats happening mate, I honestly believe Harry hasn't really got any targets who are able to move this summer. If thats the case then be honest and don't waste money. We have a good squad that should survive till Jan, but that depends on injurys.

We obviously needed a striker for so long now, also defensively we can look short at times.

King beside Dawson, fitness permitting of course.

If you wanted to go really offensive, put Modric alongside the Hudd and slot Niko in, or dare I say it Bellamy!!!!!

Kjaer signed for Wolfsburg, he's not available now. Won't be for 2-3 years when he costs twice as much. I think we really missed the boat there. I would love Ozil, but I love all Germans, and I think maybe Khadira would fit our need a bit better. Being linked to all these midfielders certainly makes me think a move to 4-5-1 is imminent.

But we definitely need a better striker for that, and I don't think Fabiano is going to come, and I'm not sure Suarez is moving either. I would not mind seeing Bellamy showing up, just having that sort of attitude on the field could be helpful, if the price is right. If we could somehow manage to steal Bellamy, Richards, and Ireland from Man City for little money, I think we have to do it.

My dream team after Apples great team

----------------------Gomes------------------

--Corluka-------Dawson------Kjaer/King------BAE

---------------Hudd---------Modric----------------

Lennon-----------------Ozil------------------Bale---

-----------------------Fabiano---------------

You change many players around because we do have a good players. Why not make Walker stand in RB to Corluka this year? I think the lad could become a triffic player, lets give him that responsibility of being around the side and being apart of the squad. Ozil and Niko can via for that AM role, if Ozil is injured than we have a great replacement in Niko.

If Bale or BAE gets injured than we once again have Niko, Mod for that role. Sandro and Palacios can easily fill in at cm, but Palacios needs to improve because he was a huge liability on the back end of last season.

Kjaer has gone to Wolfsburg hasn't he? Such a shame, Bassong looks a player but I fear when King and Dawson gets injured. Dawson will get injured, the player is full hearted and because of his style will pick up knocks. I hope Kaboul can fulfill his potential as a CB, but I worry about him mentally. But fair play to him, he was sensational at RB for us last year. BUT he isn't the answer for RB in the long run imo.

Fabiano won't join, but not sure who we can get in with similiar qualities? Suarez is a cracking little player, but he is a risk for the price that he generates.

I may get told off for saying this  but I would like someone like Adebeyoor. Not the finished article but when he was sat with Lineker during the WC I couldn't help but wonder about him being a Spurs player.

He's no better than what we have got and in my opinion is very over rated. Decent player surrounded by a shite pikey team made him look better than what he is.

£8million is laughable, let alone £15million! He also publically shafted us in the past so screw him. Really really hope we don't sign him.

We have wilson, hudders and sandro in that positon, at least 2 of which are already proved to be better and younger!

Sullivan and Gold trying to score points. I doubt we even made a bid.

The hilarious thing is they say in the statement that they made it clear to Levy that they wouldn't appreciate any attempts at unsettling Parker. Which they've now gone and done themselves!

Idiots!

To be fair to Gold, this is all Sullivan.

Idiotic, loud-mouthed pompous arsehole who keeps boring us with his vision of West Ham. Beckham? Henry? Riquelme?

You'll get Neil Redfearn and Francis Benali and like it!

Absolute tosspot.
