Looks as if we will be without Ledley. Tainio out too, maybe Mido and possibly Gardner.

How would you go about the match without these players? Daws is back from suspension. Even if Mido is fit would you play him - or stick with JD and Keano? Would you bring Davids back? Or use Murhpy instead?

Naybet would get the nod ahead of davenport on experience on paper but i dont know of his match fitness

I wouldn't stick Naybet in against Rooney, I think I'd have to give Davenport a go.

i think i would play lennon on the left and jenas on the right.
i think davids is ineffective on the left, and although we will need someone to batter ronaldo, i'd rather have a player give something by going forward, than nothing at all. I also thing lennon will fleece gary neville. the centre mids is where we will need to win the battle, murphy and carrick for me, keep the ball on the ground and moving. It's one of the most important games for many years. Good luck boys.

I don't think such an important game against the second best team in England is exactly the ideal setting for Ghaly's debut.
