With Keane only just fit, we will not play 3 up front unless Lennon plays up front with Berbatov & Defoe. Whatever formation we play Iam quietly confident we can get the 3 points and kick of the season in the right way.

It might be a thought that YP Lee can't handle the pace of this league, he doesn't seem to realise that he hasn't got time on the ball, and keeps losing possession. We're at Bolton FFS! He doesn't look comfortable making short sharp runs and passes.

We can pull it back, they've been playin 20 mins with 11 men behind the ball. Berbatov is causing them all sorts of problems. Assou Ekotto is solid and Zokora seems like he's still getting into it.

I'll agree with nutty at thispoint, weve generally been quite poor today. Don't look like scoring. We've had 75% possession, they just parking themselves in their half. too many men in the box, we got passes and runs, but just cant break through.

also why was lennon put on the left for the second half? yes we have a left sided problem but putting lennon there gives us a right sided problem. we have to play to our strengths and lennon on the left just makes him less effective

According to teamtalk.com Robbie keane replaced a 'tiring' Zokora. Probably just isn't used to the pace.
