Preevyet fellow Spurs fans, from Moscow

Hey,
Before you ask, I wanna tell you that IS NOT me in the pic. But I happen to know that those two girls are now Spurs fans (thanks to my gentle persuasion)!

In case youre wondering, I became a Sprs fan orginally for a simple reason: not knowing anything about English Football really, I simply thought and still do think that Tottenham Hotspur is the coolest name in all of professional sports.
I mean including every sport anywhere. It sounds cool, looks cool and is original, has history and just blows away almost any other team name and nickname.

2. Detroit Red Wings
3. Seattle Seahawks

Walcome to th site! Have to admit, that one of the reasons why I support Spurs is almost the same as yours. I watched a game with my dad when I was a kid and Tottenham played against someone. The name stuck to my head and after that I followed how Tottenham played.

Funny but true. Yes, me its almost the same. I guess i was about 8 and was in england visiting my grandfather who was great football fan. I remember watching a game on telly with him and spurs were playing and like you...for some reason i could never get the name out of my head! Of course now I love spurs for a million more important reasons but still, its my favourite name in sports. Nice to meet you by the way,

Thanks for the avatar marriott, dunno about you but those two are welcome at the Lane any time! What are your thought on the coming season, is there much excitement in Russia?

Hi there,
Russians are preoccupied at the moment with their own season thats underway. We get some premiership games on TV via cable but they are always Chelsea games it seems and in fact in i can remember only one time seeing a Spurs game last year.
Russian do love football though and i would guess that their lingering connections with Bulgaria might mean that a few new spurs fans might pop up as a resulot of Berbatov...especially if he does as well as expected.

Those 2 girls are tow of about ten, put together for a TV commercial for a sports newspaper in Russia...very funny spot.
