We will never amount to anything as things will always conspire aaginst us whether its of our own making or useless c*** refs or just something bizarre.

* We will always shoot ourselves in the foot, by losing games we should win - Portsmouth, Stoke, Wolves, etc

* We will always have ex players that come back to haunt us.

* We will always have our key players leave when we needed them most. Guarantee Bale, Palacios, Lennon or Modders will be off this summer.

* We will always get good players and mismanage them and turn them into waste.

* We will always get some KEY decision against us at the worst time. Bad penalty calls, goals disallowed, we even had a goal chalked off that was 10 meters over the f******* line.

* The best part is that even when you take all these factors away, some crazy BS will happen that never happens to anyone else. Dawson slipping on the travesty of an FA pitch just as the forward is about to shoot. Our entire team getting food poisoning the day before we play for a champs league place.

As you can see I am angry and bitter today. Its a miserable and long road supporting Spurs. :(

It's the same for us all...

And for all these obstacles we have to go through, its why it'll be sweeter for us than anyone else when we FINALLY achieve our goals....

It's something to dream of anyway.

Just be glad we ain't Leeds or Forest.

Bruv I have been a Spurs supporter for 25 years. I am used to this feeling, I feel normal today. LOL

This feeling of disappointment, shame and ridicule is my friend. :D

Ha ha, same here mate. Coventry in '87, Everton in '95, Newcastle in '99(irc), Blackburn in '02, Portsmouth today... we are destined to fail at our own hands against the underdogs in these semi finals and finals!

I think I'm pretty much numbed to it by now

Things will get better. We are inconsistent and that's a problem fans cannot solve.
We've had some dodgy decisions go our way...thinking recently to an defoe away goal that was a mile off side. We've had injuries but then so have all the top clubs.
I agree that the big decisions tend to not go our way but it's easier remembering them!

We lost yesterday because we had the wrong approach to the game, we were cautious and didn't try and win the game early. I thought bassong and hudd' were particularly poor yesterday and defoe off form, so straight away there's three who could easily change the outcome of the game.
We've got a big game on Weds' and we need to win. The fans will be out in force and what better way to get over this defeat but to effectively end their bid for the league.
