Hi,
I Have just re-read the thread title i think i need to clarify this!
i can manage on the date ok (I hope).
She is a Spurs fan, we both live in Gloucestershire. She has never been to White Hart Lane before and neither have I. I have got tickets for Tuesdays game against Sheffield United. At the moment i am more desirable than Brad Pitt .. get the picture.
Help needed from you locals and regular fans is
Where can i park?
Do you have a postcode for satnav purposes?
How long should i allow from M4 to WHL on a match night?
Which are best pubs etc?
I realise i probably will not reognise good info from bad, and that i may end up being directed to a gay turkish lesbian lapdancing type establishment but please help anyway.
Thanks in anticipation

I live at the Welsh end of the M4; so this thread is of interest to me too. Mate, I suggest AA's routefinder at www.aa.com. This will give you exact directions, to the mile. But if anyone else has any info it would help, as I haven't attempted the drive yet myself....hoping to soon though :D

nice one, just that if shes a pig she'd be better off seen at the scums ground cos theyre all ugly f*ckers , WHL tends to have the better looking fans  :p and we wouldnt want you letting the side down at your first attempt .
In fact our company www.hireafan.co.uk could help you or anyone else out if in difficulty of wanting to attend a sporting occasion but being accutely embarrased of the other half

There's no better pre-match warm up than a visit to a gay turkish lesbian lapdancing club.

Great that she wants to go to a match but a sold out match!
So had to get 2 tickets at short notice and it cost me over £100 each, she had better be worth it.... otherwise my sister will start to get worried again!

Hi glos....good luck on the date mate...
Parking is a bit of a problem..near the ground..but if you dont mind walking for 10 mins or so there are residential streets..northumberland park end...obviously you do run the risk of some of the locals helping emselves to ur..motor/belongongs etc....just one of the hazards of inner city life..as for pubs loads near the ground..most ok...and home fans only....id definately get there as early as possible..work etc permitting..and soak up the atmosphere.
for a better run down of a match at the lane visit www.topspurs.com they have a whole bit about visiting whl....pubs..parking etc

Thanks Whistler9027
a
Will try and park there. I assume Northumberland Park is an estate or area is there any chance you could give me a street name nearby so i could log it into my satnav?
I have never been around the north circular on an evening. How long will it take from Chiswick to WHL if i am in Chiswick at 5pm? Will i have enough time to park and get to the ground?
Thanks for your help

when you get into tottenham high rd turn into northumberland ave and when you see northumberland arms pub turn right head down the end of the rd turn right again and 50 yards straight there is a big school car park for match day at a cost of £7.50p
