Skyports says Berbatov and bellamy were the best players of the game although both were wasteful! Im glad he's missed his chances now so he can make ammends in the spurs shirt! But good to see all attacks involved him so he can be pivotal for spurs,
Anyone see Petrov play...any good?

Berby made some brilliant things but it was clear that he played thinking of the start of EPL :)
Martin Petrov did not play very well, looked very tired - he played Sunday 90 min vs Milan and then travelled from Spain to Wales...

Missed the game but saw some highlights at the end, made some good runs, showed an array of touches looks a class player. I,m sure the goals will come.

According to the spanish newspaper "AS", Atletico are ready to let Petrov go.

i have only seen petrov play three times, not including last night, but he seems pretty wasteful and dissinterested for large periods. Hope he's not going to be a carlos kickaball like postiga.

Berbie showed some great touches and he and Petrov did link up a few times.
Although Petrov didn't have a great game his pace was evident and his delivery from free kicks appeared to be of a good standard, hard to judge on this showing whether he'd be a good signing or not.Berbie looks class tho.

He looked very good..but was clear he was holding back a little...was the class act on the pitch along with bellamy....
Berby has scored 31 goals from 47 appearances for Bulgaria...and 97 club goals in 230 appearances....

Berbie gave that Welsh defence one hell of a migraine!

i saw the chances berby made and he looks very good, a real find. even if he doesn't fire on all cylinders, i think he'll make enough chances for the team that he'll stay in the side. you could argue that keane, defoe and mido didn't always play well together or individually, but there was always someone there to pop up with a goal and i'm certain berby will do that for fun.

Berby's club stats in last three seasons is what really matters:
69 goals in 110-115 games
so his international record and his club record are on a par - 60% efficiency

Petrov is playing for a spanish team, now they dont start their league season for a few weeks yet so hes gonna be behind the levels expected naturally but he beat people without trying (tho they were welsh!!!)
Berbatov controlled the ball well but lacked finish , but then he didnt have a big M on his shirt , so who cares.

Did anyone see the piece of skill from Dimi where he flicked the ball of two defenders, beat a third man and shot just wide! We have a legend in the making here!

Did anyone see his goal in the CL last season or two seasons ago, edge of the box, flicked the ball up, over defenders head then a cool lobbed finish over the keeper? the ball didnt even hit the ground!

I hope so, all the pundits are dismissing our chances of breaking the top four, Tony Gale even said we'd finish 6th. He's an ex-spammer though. I'd love us to show them all....

Taking Villa to mid table would be an achievement in itself.

Villa to third! Did he really say that? What a clot.
Maybe if he starts to build a side he can get them into the top eight this year. That would be a very good achievement.
