As with EG on Saturday, so it was with Bentley today. First time I've seen the real class he has, not just threatening to create and score goals, but doing it.

If things get any more exciting for us, I'm gonna have to start taking beta blockers.

I thought EG was excellent tonight, but I will give it to Bentley...his delivery was stunning tonight. Infact there was one ball he put in which was fantastic this evening and another goal should of resulted from it. He looked extremely dangerous tonight and without his services we wouldn't of won in all likelihood.

Eidur Gudjohnsen. Wonderful footballer. Always was. Great to see he's still got it.

Brings the class we need and haven't had when one of Berba, Pav (when he is remotely interested in general play) or Keane aren't playing. Makes such an enormous difference.

You need finishers, but you also need players to bring a pivot to your midfielders and string the play together.

Bentley was excellent too. Great to see him finally getting his act together. Still wonder why he was bought, not worth 15 million due to a one dimensional game and a lack of pace, but a quality right boot and good back up to Lennon.

Hudd, Fulham didnt play in the second half , Hudd did , his distribution was great, his closing down was good , he made the difference and allowed Bentley/ Modric/Eidur etc to have the freedom to do their stuff.

I thought Eidur had an excellent first half as well. But Hudd and Bentley were very good when they came on.

For me Eidur was the best. Great football brain and an all round ability up front is crucial for me. And Pav is a great all round player when he's bothered too. He's at it now in every game, which is huge.

Keane made a huge difference when he came back, even in poor form, because he brought a quality of possession to our play. But these guys can do that too AND they are on top form.
