The International thing and the Tottenham signed in this Monday the term of option for the sale of the steering wheel Sandro to the English club. The agreement makes part of the strategic partnership secured in last year between two clubs. The player travels for London, where it will do medical examinations, in this Monday, and returns to Cheerful Oporto in the end of week. Sandro will stay in the Inter up to the end of the Top Liberators of America.
Never use an online translator to get information of an official site. LOL

Steering Wheel? Have we bought a footballer or a mechanic?!
Seriously though, this has been one hell of a protracted transfer saga. He'd better be damn worth it! Does anyone keep tabs on Brazilian football at all, anyone seen him play or know his stats or anything?
I guess he's a sort of defensive/central midfielder, fairly technical who can control the game from deep? He looks like quite a stocky lad so can hold his own.
Bye bye Jenas at last?!?

apparently he's a very athletic and fairly aggressive player with an excellent engine but does need to improve on his passing. thats according to Tim Vickery anyway, ive not actually seen the lad kick a ball myself

He has one cap for brazil senior side so they obviously rate him highly.

Brazillians are always a gamble in England, so I am not getting overly excited. My cynical money is on him either being a flop and moaning about not settling in London OR him being an unqualified success before saying he has to move to Spain in order to play for his country.
That said, someone must think very highly of him for this saga to have played out for so long so let's hope my cynicism is proved wrong.

I too have never seen him play but the timing of the signing is similar to that of Moderic and he turned out to be worth every penny, and some .

And Gilberto's still getting in the squad and looks likely to be at the WC.

Not fondly! However left back always was a problem for them since roberto carlos retired so i wouldnt read too much into that. He was past his best aswell.

Good points, but Harry rarely gets it wrong with transfers. He's got a better record than anyone I would say. For him to chase him for that long eases my worries to be honest.
It may fail, but even if it does you will probably get most of it back and every transfer is a risk anyway. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. :santaclaus:

Reasons I have high hopes for Sandro:
He will be with us for the pre season so he will be able to get to know his team-mates and learn more of the lingo.
Gomes a fellow Brazilian will be here to help him settle.
He will have some pre season friendlies to see how English clubs play and get a basic idea of the pace.
He is not your typical brazilian flair player, he sounds like hs is made for the Premiership.
Harry and his cronies seem to do well in the market.
Obviously time will tell if he will deliver, but he should be a wonderful addition to the squad.

Yeah, and he's already learning english so he's not some stupid mug like Tevez who just turned up and four years later he still can't speak the lingo, and had to come with Mascherano for translation!
Shows a kind of determination
