El Hamdaoui has gone back on loan at Derby County. A lot of people at Spurs seem to rate him. Could he be an alternative to Mido?

I've heard very good things about him, i think i saw him play briefly in a friendly but i don't remember much. Might be worth a go at some point, still young.

Supposed to have been good in the Peace Cup (which I didn't see) but hasn't really had a shout at Derby due to injuries. Hope he does well!

To behonest, I think his chance has gone to make the first team, hope i`m wrong

don't really understand why he's never been given a go in the first team, thought especially when Mido went to cup of nations he might of been a better option than Rasiak.

To be honest Robbo1, i'd rather have played Radek Cerny up front than Rasiak.

Please don't say;
"Rasiak"
again, it sends a cold, deathly shiver down my spine.

i am a big fan of el hamdoui and saw him in the pre season peace cup and have watched him whenever he's played at derby. it seems that he's a bit injury prone but hes still scored 3 goals this season when he's only made 3 starts and a further 4 substitute apps i think. if he can stay fit and get some much needed experience at derby he will be a very good player. look at it this way; he must have something about him or deby wouldnt sign him 3 times in 1 season.
he should replace mido when the egyption goes to next years african nations and he is a quality player for the future.

there is massive potential with this guy he fits the profile for the modern day striker tall strong fast loadsa skill, hope he recovers from the groin problem. Frank Armesen rated him very highly and it has been said he was the one Spurs player he would like to take to the Bridge. Maybe next season he will show us what he can do.

I think if he stays fit and gets enough games under his belt he will get his chance.
