i know it wont happen but id like to see lennon rested and reid bought back into the starting 11, so here's my starting 11 and bench;
Robinson
Stalteri, Gardner, King, Lee
Jenas, Tainio, Carrick, Reid
Keane, Mido
BENCH: Cerny, Kelly, Davids, Murphy, Defoe

there hasn't been much mention of reid lately has there, i suspect he won't get back in the fold. But with games in three days there is likely to be some rotation.
I'd have it in my mind that we should try to beat everton rather than man utd, pick our best team for friday and grab 3 points. Pace is the way to beat everton so lennon stays for me and defoe comes in for mido.

I think that Reid has played his last match for spurs... But instead I would like to see Defoe get a start..

You think the two little guys can cope away from home up front?

Same side as last week for me but I'd like to see Defoe and Keane start. Give Weir and co some trouble.

I agree, Yobo is quick but I'd back defoe and keane to create chances against Weir on pace alone. I also hope Davids doesn't get back in, we looked better without him last week...

Did anyone else see Jol talking to Mido after the game last week?
Mido was storming off down the tunnel and Jol pulled him back, I think it's because Mido knew he played shit, I reckon he will play to put that right this week. Then again we are playing twice in three days, so he may seek to rest a few who could do more damage to Utd?

yes, i noticed that. i was saying the same thing to a friend after the match. i think Mido will start. he seems like he's strugglin to get back into the light. it is a tough time for him, Roma and what he did in the ACN.

I would love to see keano and defoe be a dynamic duo. but honestly, when they start together things just don't seem to click. it all gets a little too predictable with a midget front line in my opinion. mido does a lot off the ball to create opportuniities for robbie and our attacking midfielders. he also is our only option in the air from open play. all of us would like to see more of defoe because we want to see him in germany. the fact of the matter is you have to go with the guys that are producing the goods at this stage. it is no time for sentiment.
is it me or has jenas looked a little out of sorts recently?

Keane and Defoe have produced the goods before and they do more off the ball work than fatboy Mido ever will. The team just needs to keep the ball on the deck, keep possesion, and these 2 will score goals. Jenas and Carrick are tall enough to get on the end of some crosses as is King or Gardner.
