our spurs xi hit 11 past canvey island tonight. you can catch the write up on the spurs site so i won't do a keano.

would really like to see some of them break into the first team. with players like murphy and ghaly yet to prove themselves and justify their wages, maybe o'hara can force his way into the team. barnies 4 goals tonight should get him a bench place against bolton, especially as keane hasn't played much.

excellent, although it was against considerably weaker opposition its always good to rack up a cricket score.

This O'Hara looks special lads. Could be one for the future?

Yup, could be. He's highly rated by the coaching staff and matured considerably last season (so I'm told) and could get soe first team appearances in the cups. One to watch.

Incidentally, what ever happened to that Leigh Mills bloke we signed from Swindon last summer? He was supposed to be an outstanding prospect but I've heard nothing about him at all??

Didn't he have some good games in France also?

I believe so. He is actually named in the first team squad this season.

If they are good enough they will be given a chance, we have a great 1st team squad so it will be tough for any young player to make an impression. Perhaps a loan deal and regular 1st team football could benefit some players.

Leigh Mills is playing regularly for the yoof team, as he's still only about 17! Got time on his side, expect him to be in the reserves within the next 12 months.
