Some very good individual performances. Huddlestone was terrific imo, he's REALLY becoming a good player.
Modric was very good too, Bentley was decent today. Still lacks a lot of pace and ability to create space as a wide man though.
The defence was good as a unit, Gomes excellent when called upon. We weren't tested though, it was really bad game for Fulham.
Our play wasn't very constructive or of a high quality, if we keep playing like this we will gradually slip down despite having a very good squad.
There's a real problem with the balls we are playing to the front men, the bypassing midfield, too much space between the players and the front men aren't that good at holding the ball up as a pair (crouch and jd) even if you play good balls.
We really need to sort this out or our season is going to fizzle out into a mediocre finish.

Hudd. Always involved and looking to play a pass, energetic, and seemingly wanted to make a point about his absence. You did, son.

hudd for me, followed by bale and modric. i think that the whole game was controlled by hudd's movement and passing. i said the centre of the park was where the game would be won, and sure enough it came true.
great display by the team as a whole until the final 10mins.

Hudd was good tonight, but Modders gets it for me....some real moments of class. Had he scored that chance in the first half, engineering the chance with some sublime skill, everyone would be going for him.
Great improvising to assist Crouchie...
Bale and Bentley deserve mentions as well.

Really tough call for me - Bale, Modric and Huddlestone were all excellent. But one just shaded it for me - I'm going for Bale for the third game in a row

Bale was twice as better than last week at Ainfield.
But I think Palacios was our key player in this match. He done a superb tackle from behind when we opened up and could of gave Fulham a chance to break through our defence and could of scored easily.
Modric displayed another class performance setting up Crouch's goal in the first half.
Bentley put in some good crosses tonight.
Overall, I felt the whole of the team played above average against Fulham.

Bale, defended well and attacked well, won some free kicks in good positions and linked up great with Modric.
and he started and won his first game BALE

I'm going to shock you all and say Bentley. Was involved in both goals, worked hard on that flank, brought composure and and increased technicality, and actually showed for the ball and battled for it. Maybe he stood out for me because he wasn't shite, but he impressed me.

For me MOTM was Modrić-organised and created almost all actions,he was always on the spot, and that cross for first goal-beautiful.
Bentley did well on right side-he was constant danger and for a moment he made us forget how much we miss Aaron.
Bale is getting better with every game he plays and is good that BAE got some competition on that left back.
Two CMFs-Wilson & Tom did usually good work, solid,a lot of running, tackles & giving rythm to our game.
All together there was no weak spot in our team last night, maybe Defoe wasn´t focused enough, and Dawson a litlle bit reckless last few minutes, but Fulham is to lousy to punish that...

Super performance no-one actually played bad. I went for palacios as he did a lot of unseen work, snapped into numerous tackles, stopped a two on two in the first half with a tackle from behind his man, and didnt even get booked for it. Bale was immense bombing down the left and has greatly compensated for the loss of lennon. It'll do his confidence the power of good to finally break the jinx aswell. Modric was brilliant aswell the piece of skill for crouch's goal was out of this world. Nearly added a second aswell. Those three stood out for me.

Yes!
I've seen a lot of negativity about Hudd from Spurs fans online all season, usually commenting on awful news articles, but I've always been a fan of his. His quality is obvious and there were question marks about his ability to get around the pitch and general mobility, a lot of them fair at the time, but he has come a very long way and I certainly consider him to be an integral part of the team now. He has the ability to move the ball quickly with either foot, when other players like Jenas have to take several touches. This isn't a dig at Jenas, although I don't like him, it just seemed clear to me against Liverpool that we weren't moving the ball quickly enough and that's what Hudd does very well. There are still moments where he gets caught dwelling on the ball, and passes don't come off, but if he can keep improving at the rate he is I think we're onto a winner with him.

Ah man, it's awesome. This is one of Harry's great triumphs. This guy is going to make Carrick look like a boyscout. He's already passed him out for me, way more presence.
He can move now and he's gotten a composure in the position from that. He could always read it for me, but couldn't get into good screening positons. Now, he does and mops up, he is getting stuck in when he needs to, and he is able to get the ball out of his feet quick enough to move the ball well, and we all know how well he can pass the ball. All this means he is now also gaining confidence and composure so he is growing and learning more all the time.
He could use his ability more too, hopefully his feet get even better and he becomes more deadly with the final ball or shot, because that is certainly in him.
I'm just delighted with this, central midfield is now one of our strengths imo when we have Hudd and Palacios available and JoH on the bench!
I'd go so far as to say the future in the centre could be Hudd and Modric. I'm starting to think Hudd could play with just about anyone, he looks so solid and he won't give the ball away like Wilson does at times.
