So Liverpool have been beaten 2-0 by Portsmouth then, we really need to take advantage of their current poor form.

If only pesky Villa weren't winning too we could be pulling away!

the ref in the scum v hull game is Steve Bennit he's definitely on sky's books as well he's not even doing a good job of pretending he's impartial , he puts his whistle to his lips as soon as hull player is about to make a tackle and then blows it as soon as the tackle is made be it fair or foul.
2-0 to scum hull miss a pen at 1-1 hunt got in giovanis way as he went to nod in the rebound .

Man United fans were no doubting gloating earlier after Liverpools 2 goal defeat to Porstmouth, only for themselves to go and get beat 3-0 by Fulham which I suppose may mildly cheer up the Pool fans a little.

Villa play Pool and Arsenal over the next few games...so some of those lot are dropping points no matter what way you look at it.
Fulham away suddenly looks a very tough fixture, well it was always going to be hard but beating United comprehensively, despite their defensive problems, is extremely impressive.
Another thing, Mascherano misses the next four games for them due to it being his second red of the season - so he misses our trip to Anfield, happy days.

good spot olly that will be a great help to us as they already have a week midfield any way getting a result up there could make up for some of those silly dropped points .

i think this will prove if we can make it to the top 4. fulham are a good side at home and they can punish you when you dont take your chances. it will be a good game.

late in the villa stoke game , stoke were apparently throwing everything at villa trying to get an equalizer but villa held on, we would have caved in not because we're not as good as villa but because villa can have a defensive attitude and can play defensive tactics if need be where as we can not.

Fulham get the ball down and play, they are not over physical so there should be goals.
Couple of things;
Wilson is one booking away from a suspension, I hope he he picks it up in this game as JJ can come in and start against the Pikey's no problem - which he might end up doing anyway as its 2 games in 2 days and Wilson will probably be knackered. I dont want Wilson missing the Pool game which is going to be huge. They have no Mascherano so we could win the midfield battle up there. I know you cant time these things...but Wilson picking up a booking in the last 5 mins of the Fulham game, hopefully we are winning, would be perfect!
King will feature in one of these games, and I reckon it will be more likely to be this one.
Dawson and King against Fulham, Dawson and Bassong against West Ham. Dawson having played the fewest games, he should be fresher in theory...as oppossed to Bassong.
I reckon we will get a score draw with Fulham and beat the Pikey's of course...9-1 anyone!?

Liverpool don't seem to scare me as much now.
It's out of us, City and Aston Villa.

despite their lofty position i still dont rate villa over the whole season (unless they buy 3 or 4 in jan which i cant see happening ), dont think they have the strength in depth , or consistant goal threat to stay where they are .
