Hello fellow Spurs fans!
We can add one more nationality to this site! I'm from Finland and I've been supporting Spurs for about 18 years (that's as long back as I can remember...) It's quite strange that I'm a Spurs supporter, as the team has "only" won the Fa-cup and League cup during that time, as all my friends "support" manure, scum and chelski (glory-hunting bastards..) But we are on the up and It's been worth waiting for!

Anyway, nice to find this site and get to know some other Spurs fans...
Oh, by the way I find it difficult to name just one favourite player, but as I'm Finnish I really think Tainio is one, Keano is another and Ledley the King. But I actually think we have a really good squad of players, and I like most of them.

Looking forward to next weekend, I'm going to watch the game at Bolton live on telly!
COYS!
:D

welcome to the forum mate.. I was just thinking if you've been folowing Tainios career and could tell something about what more to expect from Tainio then we've already seen? heard he used to score a few goals for Auxerre??

I don't know what more I can say about Tainio that you don't already know. Well he started out as a striker when he played in Finland, that's why he can get in a scoreing position (..and we didn't see to many goals from last season, did we?). He's also matured alot during his time at Auxerre. I remember a few years back when he played for Finland, he lost the ball in midfield. But he didn't give up. No, instead he back-tracked the player and put in an ugly tackle from behind and got a straight red card. And that's something we don't see anymore. But he still gives 110% in every game, but doesn't put in those ugly tackles anymore. I think he did ok last season, as he had to play alot on the left side of midfield, as he perfers to play in the middle. He played on the right side at Auxerre, but didn't like that to much either as he likes to get more involved in the play!
Anyway, it's going to be interesting to see what formation we're playing tomorrow!
