Reports this morning are that Niall Quinn is preparing a new £3million bid to be submitted to Tottenham, for winger Andy Reid. How many of you would sell at this price?

Yep! But I want a left-sided player lined up to replace him first. I'm liking the idea of an Argentinean double swoop for Ayala and Sorin!

Signing them would do more good than harm, methinks....

i'd be well surprised if we got more than 1.5m for him. not that i don't like him, he deserves credit for the way he tries to play the game which is not the usual cautious stuff. But he's got serious fitness probs, and i think he's still out for a couple of weeks anyway. Maybe he deserves a chance in the middle off the strikers, but he can't do left wing in my opinion.

I would rather keep him to be honest!
I know if he signs for another club he will prosper, i'd rather hinder his career and feed him lard so he can't benefit anyone else!

I'd like Ayala, but not Sorin.

I'd take £3mil for Porky but I would not allow him to leave until we have shored up our left side. He at least gives us options for the time being.

Its funny how everyone has been slagging him off for the last, well, forever, and as soon as he could be off, he's suddenly wanted. If i was him I'd say "**** off".

3mill is a good deal for Porky. We got Ziegler for that position and will probably buy another left winger..

Sell as quickly as possible to save wages and before they change their mind about the price. Ideally we should have a replacement before selling, but it only applies toimportant first-teamers. Porkie was for most times not even on the bench and was playing for the stiffs, so it makes no sense to bring in a replacement reserve player before selling him. For argument's sake, Johnnie Jackson did more for us than Porkie, and did we bring in a replacement before selling him? In any case, Porkie is no LW, and we have more than adequate cover for him in Ziegler, Taino and Davids. Perhaps even one of the young guys who have been impressing in pre-season.
With the cash in pocket, we can go forward in searching for a genuine LW.
