Daniel Levy has announced pre-tax profits of £30m, a £3m increase on last year due to the sale of Berbatov. Looks like we're still doing sound business in the recession.

For our financial expert residents, what sort of taxes can be expected to come off this, and at what percentage. Are we looking at Net profits being more around the £27m mark for example?

How do you know how much he knows about football? Overall his decisions on the football side have progressed the club hugely as well as increasing revenue, assets and balancing the books.

The clubs value has shot up under his tenure which essentially means the club is doing well on and off the pitch, and we've no debts. All that means he's done an excellent job on all fronts.

You can't increase the value of a club without making good football decisions. Buying low and selling high when its in the interests of the club with a want away player or a transfer that represents good value and putting the money back in shouldn't be confused with seeking short term profits.

Levy and Enic aren't in it for the short term or they'd have kept the club mid-table, bought a lot of talent with potential on the cheap and sold it all when it was developed, took the money and sold the club for roughly what they bought it for.

But that's not what they have done because it's not in anyone's best interests and Levy is actually a spurs fan (not that it matters for doing his job well for the benefit of everyone). What they have done and are doing now is ploughing profits back in to improve the squad, facilities, stadium etc. and increase the overall value of the club. So when they do sell we will be doing well on the pitch, have the setup this club deserves in all departments and they will make a few hundred million. Everyone is a winner.

Levy knows exactly what he is doing with his vision for the club and he knows how to get there. It hasn't been a straight line but nothing is. Very ambitious, very driven and with very high expertise. I've always said that. You couldn't wish for anyone better to put a big club back on the map.

His knowledge on football is quite limited, these were his own words mate.

Well he has made a great vision for the football and I think he knows more than he lets on.

Anyone who could see the cracks appearing in Jol's reign the summer before he was sacked and was watching like a hawk to see if he'd fixed them and then immediately realised after two games he hadn't and it was going backwards fast is someone that knows their stuff.

I know you and others wanted Jol to be given more time, but I think we all realised the many details that went wrong and bad tactical and coaching decisions by Jol. And for that length of time to be on top of it I think was very on the ball. Also the decision to make a change that early I think was spot on because of the volume of repeated errors not fixed, which imo and obviously Levy's too meant they didn't think it was ever going to change.

He may have advisors close to him. What ever, it doesn't matter whether he knows what he is doing football wise or whether he is good at getting wise expertise around him. Either way he is the head haunch and has done a great job.

Use part of that £30 million wisely on a new midfielder in January or summer transfer window.
