Has to be Andy Reid!
PS people who laughed at Choda regarding Reid's ability, you may want to watch Match of the Day!

No rocket science, as Jeff (Sky Sport News) said, it was Gomes vs Sunderland. Fantastic saves, and if I saw the replay correctly, Bent dived and it should not have been a penalty.

Bent definitely went down before the contact but it worked out in the end with a superb stop by Gomes. Fully deserving of MOTM for the Spurs side, although Reid was the best player on the pitch overall.

Reid was MOTM. You can get more laughs at his rating of Keane's ability. Most of the game they played with Campbell right, leaving 3 in the centre, which suits Reid.

To be fair to Choda he always maintained Reid had to play in a three man midfield. I thought Steed was brilliant for sunderland, great little player who done very well for us.

DITTO. Reid was a lot better than our centre mids.

He was great and never wanted to leave. A central midfielder who we never played at CM. Bent mostly looked on fire, with only the miss blotting his copy book.
To be unfair to Reid, he was never in any great shape for us when here. Even so, managers always seemed to think it a better move to play the likes of Keane at LM than Reid, who couldn't be any worse. We've had so many CMs here - add in Danny Murphy, Tainio - who we wasted by asking them to limp along at LM.

I tell you what I wouldn't of minded Reid and Malbranque back in Spurs shirts today. Reid has quality - no doubt about it. Very influential on his day and how he is not in the Irish side is an utter disgrace. Ireland and Reid would change everything.

Strangely enough, a 5 man midfield would suit Trapatonni. Reid still must be questioned as to why he lost 3 years at the top level before recognising the need to become a true professional.

Gomes or Kranjcar. The rest were pretty dire. A few of them improved slightly as it went on, but not much, so I'll go for Kranjcar.

gomes done brilliantly, assou put in cross for 1st goal , and also put in cross from right that should of resulted in a goal,
it says plaenty when the majority of our forward passes come from our over worked left back, who never has no cover,
we were too narrow, everything goin throgh the middle, we seem to be accomadating our high earners...lol
i watched on football first and am stil waiting for us to have some sort of possession...
ERM WHAT DO OUR PLAYERS DO IN TRAINING...OR WAS THAT OUR GAME PLAN...HAHA....surely with the players we have we can create and keep the football better against a weakend sunderland side..3POINTS IS 3 POINTS...but can we honestly get away with that every week????

for me gomes was the motm. he saved 3 certain goals including the penalty. thought that bent went over before contact was made. this will give gomes confidence and hopefully he can string a run of good performances. he is definitly our no.1
