No need to explain why. We lack so much when Jermain is missing. Keane has been a massive dissapointment, Crouch has turned us into a long ball team and Pav doesnt want to be here in world cup year.

Hmm... resigning a player after 6 months of selling him because we don't know what we've got 'til it's gone? Been there, done that, wouldn't reccomend it.

And West Ham would rather chop their collective arm off than sell us their best striker.

Before I say this I think Keane needs to be dropped, but he still has 13 in 26 games since he came back and 7 goals this year already and has created a good few chances, despite poor form. A bit of balance.

His form has been poor and he's had enough time, players that proven and of that quality deserve time, but he's had that now and now it's time to drop him and hopefully get a reaction.

It's not working what is happening right now. His confidence was shot last year, he got faith, but sometimes I believe there comes a time when you just have to take a guy out of the limelight when he's stuck in a rut and needs to clear his head out of the action, refuel and refocus.

I think there is too much pressure and glare on him and he needs to be taken out so he gets that nothing to lose feeling and can get back to normal.

When he hits form he will be incomparable to Darren Bent and he's still actually scored goals. If you remember Bent only ever scored goals and he'd never do near what Keane does for the team. It's ridiculous imo to want him back. He's a just a poor man's Defoe and they couldn't play together in a million years or you'd slide down the table.

Keane and Defoe is excellent. Even with Keane not on top form it's still been deadly and works better than Bent, miles better actually. When Keane hits top form then they will be pure lethal. You have to relax and take a big picture view before signing players.

Bent is in a purple patch and has hit the ground running. Big whoop, it doesn't change anything. I actually expected him to do well and bang them in.

I do like Cole, I'd love to have Defoe, Keane and Cole, but right now we need a central midfielder and Crouch is a good impact sub.

tbh honest though, If your thinking of a partnership for Defoe, then I personally think we can do much better than Cole or Bent. Perhaps Negredo or Julio Cruz, strikers like these have experiance in other leagues and have been known to score over 15 goals a season.

Keane just needs to be dropped for a couple of games imo. Crouch will get us goals as long as the other players stop hoofing it to him, he'll do alright. Re Bent, I don't think he'd want to come back for starters after Harry saying his Mrs could score some of the misses Bent had.

We'd also have to pay more for him than we sold him for as he's doing well for Sunderland so they would not want to offload him

and there are better strikers than Bent around for the sort of money we'd ave to pay for him. As for Cole, don't rate him at all..... although he did link up well with Defoe for us against West Ham! :tongue:

Keane has not shined thst much since returning from pool, however, playing him on the left, like against the scum, does not boost his morale.

I have only watched Carlton Cole 3 times. He is potentialy a very good target man but after one third of a season he doesnt just turn into didier drogba.

I say we show some patience and give Taarabt and Giovani a chance if Robiie continues to underperform.

I would start Robbie and Jermain and bring on Crouch if we are struggling.

I believe Robbie will regain teh form he showed against hull and liverpool.
