After watching today's horrific display, it left me wondering if Arsenal are really our rivals anymore. It's embarassing how one sided the derby has been lately, and quite frankly I don't blame them for seeing us as a bit of a joke. Maybe we should focus on West Ham or someone, because frankly Arsenal seem out of our league at the moment

They try to piss us off by saying they're not bothered by us, and that they don't hate us, but look at the way Fabregas celebrated his goal, and the fact that the only song they ever sing (whether they're playing us or not) is "Stand up if you hate Tottenham." Those c*nts will always be our rivals :cursing:

I think its difficult for spurs at the moment. with regards to West Ham as our rivals, of course they are because they are in London, but if you look at our recent record against them, its embaressing for them, and I am wondering if they are thinking, are spurs out of our league?, and maybe we should class Millwall as our rivals?

Although we have not beaten the arse in the league for some time, there have been alot of draws, and as much as today was a disgrace, I dont think there is this huge gap between us anymore, and certainally not as huge as 4 or 5 years ago when they had Henry, Lundberg, Peres etc.

We are 4th in the league with a very similar points average over the last 30 games or so. Of course we are in the same league, you just look at the squads, but we have injuries and Harry had an absolute f*cking mare today in team selection, tactics etc.

We were always going to get beaten badly with the team he put out. If I were neutral I'd have put a few hundred on them when I saw the teams.

At this rate, we'll even start getting the cold shoulder from Orient.:blushing:

Yeah you can make excuses about injuries, tactics etc, but this goes back to 1999. I mean come on, has anyone in the country got a record that bad against their fiercest rivals? It's a joke frankly

It is a joke, but we've had inferior teams because of the previous chairman and over time we've finally gotten the club and squad back much more like it should be. These games we will start to do them 50/50 or what ever when we overcome injuries or just put the right team out.

We battered them last year at home but were just very unlucky not to win. We have improved the results against them considerably in the last few years. Just give it a bit more time, we are getting there.

Well I hope we are, Harry was a joke today. Credit where it is due and I've given plenty of that but he deserves huge stick for today, manu, arsenal and even stoke.

There are two types of rivalrys,

Just one that develops between two sides, i.e. - Manchester United and Arsenal, who have had many epic battles and managers that have plenty to say about one another, they are also the two teams with the most p-ship trophys. But if Man U suddenly went shit and Arsenal remained good, the rivalry would desist

But when its a LOCAL rivalry, a territorial rivarly...It can NEVER be anything but a rivalry. Even if we lose like we have for the next 50 years, it will still be a rivalry as its for the locals of North London. It cant stop being a rivalry because one side starts winning most of them, it may not be a healthy rivalry, but a rivalry nonetheless. Even relegation couldn't stop it.

And beleive me, Tottenham is the two matches per season that Arse fans don't want to lose!!

The NLD is one of the fiercest local derbys in the world, and easily the biggest in this country. Only the Merseyside Derby would run it close.

NLD is on a par with the Roma/Lazio rivalry, because both sets of fans are in each others faces all year round. My office may be in West London, but all I see are Yids and Gooners, with the occasional QPR/Wycombe/North West glory hunter thrown in.

The abuse I'm suffering today proves this is a proper rivalry, and they definately give a shit about it!
