For me Lennon was great today, followed by a brilliant JJ which said it all considering he played 15min.

Lennon, then Jenas, then Dawson for me.

Crouch, on a better day at least 2 goals. Lennon was a danger throughout, JJ an increased danger when he came on. Special mention to the CBs, and the preparation for Stoke, as they caused as zero problems with throws. Gomes conceded a goal, yetcould have easily had a deckchair out and read a large part of Proust's "A Remambrance of Things Past".

Thats if he wouldn't of dropped it..:blushing:
Bassong had a good game, crouch was unlucky faded last 20min but it did seem like he was upfront on his own all game getting bashed by their huge back four.

It wouldn't have been moving, so there would have been no excuse. :blushing:
Maybe the heavy words and the sheer bulk might have caused some fatigue.

I thought Bassong had a very good game as well actually, yea, bit like his debut. I do believe he is going to be a very fine player.

I went for Lennon, I listened to the game, couldn't watch it, his name was the one constantly called out, although it sounded like Jenas was having quite the impact when he came on.

Went for JJ, due to the fact that he did what Hudd wasn't/ cannot do & that is run at defences, causing them problems & winning free kicks in dangerous areas.
I think it was Choda who said that we needed a player like JJ or Defoe yesterday someone to cause Stoke's centre backs problems with their movement & pace.

Lennon. A near Ginola like performance.
