Does anyone know anything about this boy?

I read on the official site that he's only about 17, and has been likened to Rooney because of his strength at such a young age.The club has high hopes but don't want to put too much pressure on him.One for the future.

The boy has been called up by Ireland for there up and coming match, speaks for it's self i think they rate the boy highly, Bobby Robson the Irish football director rates him and that man has worked with the likes of Ronaldo, Romario etc,

he impressed steve staunton in the under-17's and got called up to the full ireland squad and i think broke the record for the youngest call-up but did not figure in the match against Chile. he obviously did something right as he was recalled for the upcoming friendly, against Holland i think

We had an Irish legend in Pat Jennings for such a long time; so hopefully we'll get the next Irish legend in Dixon.

Believe it or not, he's Irish and has been recently called up for International duty. Will be in the squad for our game against Holland next Wednesday so you can see him then if he gets off the bench!

yeah, thought so too.. He'll be one for the future, just like Pekhart. But it sounds very promising that he has now been called up for the national team twice at the age of 17.

What happens if he does the unthinkable andscored a hattrick and provides 3 assists for Keane against Holland? Any ideas for Jol?

If the Mido rumours are true, then any plans to sign him may go out the window!

As goals always seem to come in spurts, if Dixon really did that, I'll put him in the first team immediately just to catch catch the rest of the spurt.

These Mido rumours are intensifying; Spurs won't comment, and I just read on the Daily Mail website that Mido is 'expected to join on a permanent deal'.
Imagine.....

Mido's only young himself, 22/23 i believe and he's seen as experienced as he's had so many clubs. people seem to forget how young he is, i think his best is yet to come which could be part of the spurs squad

So in a couple of years when this guy Dixon has developed enough, we could sell Mido at a whopping profit as well.

I've read this morning that Mido underwent a medical with us on Monday afternoon. Nothing else as of yet, though.
