£25,000: Emmanuel Adebayor's FA fine for his goal celebration at Man City.

£20,000 plus VAT: Amount paid to Adebayor by the Sun for his exclusive interview about the incident a week later in which he justified the celebration.

Total net punishment: £2,000.

I give up.

Great work if you can get it.

Best one has to be when you're out injured, and still getting paid £100k a week.

I know that the injured still get paid, however, would that payment come from the club or insurance company?

Insurance pays a large part, but it'd depend on the player and the cover obviously.

Still, the player will get paid full whack, only missing out on appearance and other bonuses.

What. A. Job.

Not bad, maybe a short career, however, if money is invested wisely, then no worrries for the future.

And you can even retire early like Chimbonda and Berbatov but still get paid for your half hearted efforts and just turning up for a kick around.
