Haha I met kazuyuki toda in whites bar in white hart lane when I was about 13-14! Me and my dad got passes into the bar through our supporters club and met legends like perryman, roberts, allen etc. I also met Graeme Souness as he was manager of Blackburn at the time and we were playing them. We got beat 4-0. It was shite. But after the match I was waiting for all the top current players to come in and the only player that came in was ****ing kazuyuki ****ing toda. I was like....

Ah good memories though!

Give it a couple more years, and Ricardo Rocha will undoubtedly be on these lists.

I don't know if he ever even played for Spurs.

I'm baffled, how are people putting the likes of Howells, Van Den Hauwe down?! They were brilliant players, everyone remembers them surely?!

One of the funniest things that I ever saw in a Spurs game was an incident between Pat Van Den Hauwe and Trevor Francis during a Spurs vs QPR match in 1989.Both of these players were going for a 50-50 ball and the closer that it got to the tackle, you could literally see clouds of brown gas belching out from Francis' backside. He absolutely bottled it and hurdled out of the way of Van Den Hauwe. Not a fine example to set if you are the player/manager.No wonder we came from 2-0 down to win 3-2.

Howells is in there cos what did he do after us? hence unremembered. least thats how I took the title of the thread. :stupid:
I'll add Nicola Berti, and three whose names I cant even remember so help me out please.

1) Midfield Kid we got who was young gooner played for us under Graham or Hoddle(had the same surname as a better known midfeilder in the premier league)
2) French ex star midfielder we had for less than a season on loan i think under Graham/ Hoddle era
3) right back came from Southend just after we got Edinburgh but even more shite than he was

god old age catching up on me

glenn hoddle bought him from belguim. he played around 15 games for us. he scored a couple of times. blondel was a decent player but he was a little too young and he wasnt quite there with the language.

gary o reilly ,

only bringing him up because he appears as a pundit over here quite a bit . never rated him as a player and there is something about his patronising punditry that makes me want to smack him in the mouth .

We let him go, just like Inter, as far as I know, because he was apparently very disruptive. He's now back in France.

Was it Mitchell Thomas who was sent off against Liverpool for a proper knock out style punch on a Liverpool player? Him or maybe Chris Fairclough?... wish I still had a video player as I could check on my goals of the season vids from when I was a kid
