While I'm at it I thought it'd be interesting to see what full back people would most like to see come in.

voted other 'cos really don't know.Think we can rule Bridge out as Ekotto seems to be making a good claim for the left back berth.

I voted Sorin, but want him played on the left of midfield rather than at full back.

It sounds like Man City are close to getting Trabelsi and we don't seem to be linked with him at all anymore. Is anyone in the know about this?

Voted for Degen as he really impressed during the world cup.. not Chimbonda, as he'll just move on if we don't make the CL next year..

I have voted for Chimbonda, with the exception of Bridge i dont know much about the others. He is also proven and used to playing in the Premiership.

Shit, I meant to put up Trabelsi aswell. I knew I forgot somebody. I'd love to see him come in, he's quality.

I'd say two of the others are for him, but I initially put it up for Barry, Matt Taylor and guys like that.

My choice is Sorin or Trabelsi. I don't like Lee at left full but I think if he settles to the prem he could be a great right full, and Sorin can also play left wing. He's even done well up front for Argentina (really good player), but on the other hand Trabelsi would guarantee a top drawer right full, instead of hoping Lee will get used to he prem.

Not so familiar with Degan, though I probably should be, as we played Switzerland a lot lately, but I can't say I noticed him.

How do some of watch the more obscure European leagues? I've heard people saying, I watched him for Sofia, Dortmund and St. Etienne, how much footy do some of you guys watch?

When I can I watch all the Irish internationals, most English ones and all CL nights, but I have to ration my live prem matches at this stage. How the hell are you guys watching Sofia and St. Etienne aswell?

No we don't need another left back, Ekotto is top quality. I might go as far as say that he's world class. Don't know if any of you saw the Dortmund match, but he was top class defensively. I still haven't seen him go forward much, but hope to see that as he adapt to the english game..

I wanted trabelsi, and reports suggest MAN CITY are in talks with him. With hearing that I believe he might also be in talks with Rushden & Diamonds.

Isn't Van Den Borre a left back? I thought Degan was dotmunds right back.

Good shout, Van Den Borre is better than Vincent Kompany and a real footballer.

He's a big, quick and very strong rightback/centre half. He's very skilful for a defender and he's only 18. The only problem is that he is yet to decide on representing the country of his birth (Belguim) or his parents country (DR Congo).

He looked very good going forward against Inter, a few nice 1-2s, good overlapping and a nice touch - looks less of a liability than Lee if nothing better!! :)

I think Neill has come on leaps and bounds in the last couple of seasons and big MJ would get the best out of him. I thought he looked quality at the World Cup - accomplished against both Brazil and Italy - and is SOLID in the tackle, unlike a certain Stalteri - the vision of that late Sunderland equaliser still haunts my dreams!

The vision of Neill in a Spurs shirt, walking off for an early bath on a regular basis, and also the vision of him hauling Henry down in the box during the NL derby a la Grosso at world cup haunts me before I sleep.

PLEASE MJ DONT SIGN THE AUSSIE THUG!!
