Who will win the world cup?

I'm backing us to win it. We look fantastic under Don Fabio, the players ate playing with passion, we've got strength in depth and the weather wont be to hot in South Africa.

THe only other team I'm worried about is Spain and possibly an outsider like Germany or Brazil but they dont have as many world class players as we do.

I think we have the best chance in years just for the sheer fact that we have Capello, but I worry about us when we play against teams who can pass for fun.

I've gone for Spain but even then i'm not confident just because you always get shocks and spain are not great in tournaments.

Lets hope Rooney stays fit because he is a special player.

Would love to see England win it, but think Spain will probably do it. England look good at the moment but the qualifying group was pretty weak - although you can only beat whats put infront of you. I think England will make the Semi's this time.

They're just so powerful going forward, the likes of Fabiano and Adriano up top, Ronaldinho and Kaka. And there's the likes of Maicon and Dani Alves as well. They always save their best stuff for the WC as well.

There seems to be a lot of credibility given to the "winter world cup" contributing to our chances as well. Don't forget that alot of south american players play in the north of Italy, where it's just as cold and wet as here in the winter. Countries like Holland and Germany are just the same.

The advantage given to us via possibly poor weather will benefit most european countries.

dont see how you can call brazil an outside bet , im guessing they must be favourites , or spain maybe .
outside those 2 we have as good as chance as any , and better than most .

I've gone for England. Absolutely no reason why we can't win it. Brazil, Argentina, Spain, Germany and Holland are the biggest threats in my opinion.

i think england will go out in the semis and it will be a brazil spain final.
however they will be a tough nut to crack under capello.
