Excuse the long winded thread title.
Here's a list of mine and reasons why in no particular order.
Bale
Hutton
Hudd
Bentley
Pav
Gomez
Bale: if he can return to the form he showed when he first arrived then we have some player. I think the never won a league game stat is weighing on him coupled with a few error's he made last season ( stoke comes to mind). Would hate to see him leave and then become a world beater for some one else.
Hutton: although looking pretty average since his return from injury I know he is a decent right back and an offensive one at that just needs to sort his defending out not a bad second choice to have. Is also a great crosser imo.
Hudd: has his knockers but this guy strikes a football like no other including carrick and becks. Has a definite role to play I love players who can do something different and he can, just needs to become more consistent and continue working hard which he has been doing this season.
Bentley: really can't see why he gets such a hard time from fans especially after he cracked one in from 40 yards vs arse and he had the shot against pool which led to our late winner and that game restarted our self belief. He's not the hardest worker but not every ones a robbie savage or carlos tevez. He's skill full and has a crack again not bad back up for the right hand side.
Pav: definitely feel we haven't seen the best of him he has a knack of getting important goals and is a good finisher on both feet and his head and how many strikers can boast that. May even prove to be best of the lot of our strikers.
Gomez: I just love this guy to look at him on the pitch you would think he's played for our club for the last 20 years or so. Excellent keeper way better than carlo. I won't lie I'm still a bit nervous watching him at crosses but I think that will be gone soon , a spurs legend in the making
