Think he would be the best option both in the short term for Modric's and in the long term.

Muntari could play on the left in Modric's abscences and then when the little fella is back we could switch him to CM to play alongside Wilson.

Totally agree. I would still want Muntari if Modric hadn't got injured. My first choice, would love him in.

I'd love to get Muntari but for the squad to replace Palacios when he's injured and probably play with Palacios when he's not. What I'd really love right now is to give Gio a proper run or buy Van Der Vart who could just as easily move inside to his better position when Modric comes back. Then we would be the complete team with a deep squad and would have every chance of beating anyone outside United and Chelsea and you never know we might even scare the shit out of them.
