doubt he'll break through, if he is a central defender which i am under the impression he is. if so, he has ledders, daws, davenport, gardner and dervette and then possibly hudds in front of him so it may be yet another loan spell for our brazilian

And there's also the young Frenchie Dervitte or something.

Defendi is on the bench for the Spurs XI playing Fisher Athletic now.

Is Dervitte good enough to play 1st team do you think? Say Ledders and maybe Dawson were injured....? He's like Under 19 captain of France of something i think.

he got half hour last night too. he's still young so maybe there is time. but when we ship them out for a year like halfredsson who's at malmo and not playing, they aren't learning much.

How come when we actually have Brazilian player he doesn't have a flashy name? You've got your Cicinho, Robinho, Ronaldo, Rivaldo, Juninho, Ronaldinho, Roberto Carlos....
....and we get Rodrigo Defendi. Sounds like a duff Italian.....

We may have to get his name legally changed to Defendaldinhos or something, for shirt sales.
Having said that, that looks Greek.

I think Defendi is a great name for a defender.

I'm guessing he didn't have much choice when it came to choosing a position

It sounds like some made up computer game name "At the back we have Ringer, Defendi, "Chopper" and Wrightson."

would like to see what that dervitte is like, im guessing he will be a reserves player for most of next season unless he performs exceptionally.
scored on his debut (saying that i would like to see more goals from dawson next year, should of had about 10 last year!) and looks like a bit of a tank, must be pretty good to be the french u19 captain.

His build is not dissimilar to that of Huddlestone. A brick shithouse!
