For me its the thing that drives and acts as an anchor for everything..the engine room..Palacios.
Keeping Palacios on the pitch is everything. We now have cover for virtually every position on the pitch except for that palacios type role.
Yes we have creative capable midfielders but no-one who hunts, breaks down and secures the centre of the park like he does.
There is no way he is going to play in every game for us this season...his style of play means he will pick up injuries and cards and also get tired eventually.
If we just had a player to cover for him who was 75% the player he is we could rest easier.

Yeah just mentioned this on another thread, cover for Palacios completes our sqaud in my opinion.

Hit the nail on the head there. One solution would be to get O'Hara to constantly train with him, not leave his side. He has the attributes just need to be fine tuned.

True O'Hara could be developed more by following..exactly..Palacios example. Not the carbon copy of Palacios certainly but maybe 75% as good with further development.
Only problem is to keep momentum going we need someone in there now with the experience and who plays in a similar way.

Honestly if wilson goes our entire midfield wont be able to function. Sgt Wilson inspires the guy he plays alongside and the solidity we gain allows our 2 wing wonders to floursh.
If he gets injured jj/hudd or whoever will look medicore and luka and co will be starved of the ball. We will have less possesion and also concede more goals. Less goals scored and more goals conceded equals a slide back into mid table.
He really is very special. He'll be a hero just like graham roberts. Hopefully we'll keep him forever.

In terms of his influence in the whole team and how overall instrumental he is in our performances, I will make a bold statement and say he is arguably the best signing we have made in the last 20 years.

lineker klinnsmann sheringham?yes you know he will be a great player for this club if he doesn't get too many cards but the more worrying thing is nobody decent beside him.if the team is to challenge for cl spot then a quality ball carrier/playmaker needs to be brought in now.
